New Album Due in September


We are excited to announce the forthcoming release of Chris's brand new studio album, Time Stands Still. The album, produced by David Goodrich, will be in stores September 29, and features a whole batch of new songs as well as a few fantastic covers.

The February issue of Acoustic Guitar magazine includes its 2008 Players Choice Awards – in the Acoustic Blues Guitarist category, Gold went to Keb' Mo', Silver to Eric Clapton, and Chris and Jorma Kaukonen tied for Bronze. Cool.

Chris Wins Folk Alliance Awards

We're happy to announce that Chris recently took home the 2007 Folk Alliance Awards for both Song of the Year ("Seems So Real") and Contemporary Artist of the Year.

The ceremony took place at the 2007 North American Folk Alliance Conference in Memphis, TN.

Sixty Things To Do When You Turn Sixty is a collection of essays (including one by Chris) that speaks to the reader who has or will soon turn 60. The collection includes essays that are practical, covering subjects like health care, fitness, finance, and business, and also essays that are more reflective, more whimsical, or more reassuring, or just plain laugh-out-loud funny. All royalties are donated to cancer research.

Krall Covers Smither
